IHCL LAUNCHES GORBANDH PALACE, JAISALMER, MARKING ITS 200TH HOTEL MILESTONE

MUMBAI, JANUARY 18, 2024: Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, today announced the opening of Gorbandh Palace, an IHCL SeleQtions hotel in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Nestled in the heart of the Thar Desert, the hotel is a mélange of modern comfort that blends seamlessly with old-world Rajasthani legacy.

The 83-key sprawling Gorbandh Palace, Jaisalmer – IHCL SeleQtions is a regal oasis set amidst lush gardens in the heart of Jaisalmer. Named after the traditional ornamental camel necklace, symbolic of Rajasthani tribes, hotel’s design pays homage to Jaisalmer’s storied past. Guests can indulge in multi-cuisine fare at the all-day diner Bazaar, relish Italian cuisine at Seray and handcrafted cocktails at the bar Musafir Khana. With over 80,000 sq. ft of outdoor lawns and an ornate banquet hall of over 3,000 sq. ft, the hotel is an ideal destination for glamorous soirées and corporate retreats.
